Our industry-standard Aquaculture Trade Training Centre features eight large grow-out tanks and a processing room, where students learn how to grow and prepare barramundi for the restaurant table.

Adopt-A-Barra

You can adopt your very own barramundi, courtesy of our Aquaculture program. Each fish is individually tagged, monitored and managed by our students, with regular email updates provided.

  • Nurture & promote fish growth

    Staff will train students in all areas of Aquaculture, First Aid, Fish husbandry, pool maintenance, Feeding schedule.

  • Capture & measure fish

    Throughout the year, students capture and tag the fish to measure their growth over the year.

  • Harvest, Process & Pack

    We Harvest the fish humanely, process/fillet the fish then prepare the fish as smoked fillets, vaccuum packed fillets for Adoptees.
