Elke & Maya Awarded Prestigious STEM Scholarships

Congratulations to Elke Thomas & Maya Kennedy! ![]()
We are thrilled to announce that earlier today, Year 11 students Elke Thomas and Maya Kennedy (pictured) were notified that they had been awarded prestigious scholarships to attend the 2026 National Youth Science Forum (NYSF) in Canberra next January.
The NYSF is a highly esteemed program that brings together young science enthusiasts from across Australia. Held annually, the forum takes place in Canberra and Brisbane, offering students the opportunity to engage with leading scientists, participate in hands-on workshops, and explore exciting career pathways in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
Elke and Maya’s selection for this scholarship is a testament to their dedication, passion and outstanding achievements in the field of science. This is a remarkable accomplishment, and we are incredibly proud of them both!
Let’s all join in congratulating Elke and Maya on this fantastic achievement and wish them an inspiring and enriching experience at the NYSF. Keep reaching for the stars, girls! ![]()
