HOT WEATHER POLICY: Tues Nov 10

PLHS parent/caregivers and students are advised that the weather report on the 7pm ABC1 TV News bulletin has forecast tomorrow’s maximum temperature for the Port Lincoln district of 38°C or higher – accordingly, the school’s Hot Weather Policy will be implemented tomorrow (Tuesday November 10th).
- Year 8, 9 and 10 students will be dismissed at 12.50pm (the start of lunch)
- SACE Stage 1 classes will run as normal; Year 10 students in Stage 1 classes (including SAASTA) also attend
- bus students (and any other students who do not have parental permission to leave) will be supervised in air-conditioned spaces until our regular dismissal time of 3:10pm
