“As emerging leaders, they brought their voices together on a shared platform to speak on what matters to them and their plans to meet with decision-makers. To see such staunch and hopeful young people with great brains and big hearts was truly inspiring.
We would like to acknowledge and give thanks to our MC, Elaine Crombie, Jakirah Telfer for greeting us to ‘spirit of place’ on Kaurna land and who joined us for today’s conversations and workshops.
We thank guest speakers Isaiah Dawe – ID. Know Yourself and Tamara Young- Wonky Lines Counselling, our special Elder guests Uncle Peter Burgoyne Senior and Aunty Cheryl Saunders and the Hon Nat Cook, Minister for Human Services and convenor of the Ministerial Youth Advisory Council.”
