“Juvenescence” Exhibition Officially Opens at Jump Ship
Our 2024 SALA exhibition – “Juvenescence” (the state of being youthful or of growing young) – was officially opened at Jump Ship Brewing last night before a large crowd.
The formalities were conducted by TLC Art/Photography teacher Ms. Amy Rowsell and PLHS Art teacher Ms. Wanda Jarvis, in front of many of the exhibiting students, their proud families and PLHS/TLC staff.
Showcasing student artwork from the Port Lincoln High School and the Transition & Learning Centre, the collection ranges from painting, drawing, photography, design, mixed media, printmaking and more. The work has been produced by students from all six year levels (7-12).
Art lovers are again urged to get along to Jump Ship (11-13 Edinburgh Street) throughout the month of August to check out the large, diverse and visually spectacular collection.
(Please note: Jump Ship is open Wed-Sun from 12 noon to 9pm.)
