Power Players Deliver SAASTA Workshop

On Friday March 6th, PLHS was fortunate to be visited again by several members of the Port Adelaide Football Club. On this occasion, the Power players and staff spent the day with fifteen of our SAASTA (South Australian Aboriginal Secondary Training Academy) students.
The Power team facilitated sessions that allowed our students to explore their various language groups, delve into Aboriginal history, develop their cultural understanding and discuss opportunities for Aboriginal students transitioning between school and work. The students were also treated to a practical session run by current PAFC players Trent Burgoyne and Joel Garner.
We would like to thank the Port Adelaide Football Club and associated sponsors – their continued support is helping South Australian Aboriginal students make their mark.
