Three Days of Crew to Close Out 2025
Port Lincoln High School’s “Three Days of Crew” program (formerly known as Activities Week) was the ideal way to cap off another long and challenging school year for staff and students in Years 7, 8, 9 and 10. This annual initiative is a fitting reward for a year-long teaching and learning effort and is highly valued within our school community.
This 2025 version featured a significant change to the previous format, with participating students invited to select a different activity for each day (as opposed to one option for all three days), all of which were offered free-of-charge.
PLHS staff devised, planned and facilitated the following fun and engaging offerings across the first three days of Week 9:
- Art Attack
- Board Games Extravaganza
- D&D
- Empowerment
- Feelin’ Festive
- Fishing
- Golf
- Lego
- MasterChef
- Minecraft Educator
- Multimedia Mayhem
- School-based Sports
- Wicked Wordsmiths
- Work Experience
In addition to the individual enjoyment experienced within their chosen activities, our students were provided with an important opportunity to meet and make new friends (often from different year levels), and to interact with a range of staff who they hadn’t previously had as one of their classroom teachers. Crew spirit levels were high across the PLHS campus and further afield around the town – it is hoped that these productive new relationships will carry over into the 2026 school year.
Congratulations to all staff/students involved on your positive participation across our inaugural “Three Days of Crew” program.
