Year 9 Panto Crew Deliver Cinderella Story
Our 2025 Year 9 Pantomime – a modern take on Cinderella with a message – was staged last week for over 1,000 children from across the Lower Eyre Peninsula.
Fortunately, our small class of Year 9 Drama students was able to access the Hall for their nine performances, despite the renovations happening in this space. With the assistance of Stephen Campbell and a merry band of Year 10 students, temporary lighting and sound was created to illuminate the stages and produce the theatrical magic expected from a PLHS Panto.
Alongside the wizardry were messages of kindness, friendship and not to judge someone by how they look. In the words of Cinderella “it’s what lies within that truly matters”. Our 2025 cast and crew epitomised this mantra completely with their resilience, creativity, hard work and approach to crew! They should be very proud of their wonderful efforts.
Extra special thanks to Ms. Lynn Campbell for her valuable assistance again this year. Also, a special mention to Seishin Spa for their generous donation of makeup.
