Another Fantastic Formal Function

Port Lincoln High School’s 2024 Year 12 Formal was successfully staged inside the Port Lincoln Yacht Club last night. The ideal venue was stylishly decorated (by PLHS staff) and afforded stunning views of the bay in the late afternoon and evening light – to top it off, our friends at Viterra lit up the nearby silos in PLHS red and blue for our special occasion.
In addition to a delicious meal prepared and served by the Greenside Bistro team (Chef: Jeremy Hartwich), the function featured access to a professional photographer (Mikaela Frick: Mikaela Frick Photography) for the students and their families before dinner.
As these (“unprofessional”) photos clearly demonstrate, the students looked amazing in their formal wear and greatly enjoyed the company of their peers and attending staff throughout the night. A highlight for many was the presentation of tongue-in-cheek special awards (devised by their teachers) to some of our more notable Year 12’s.
Many thanks to the Port Lincoln Yacht Club and our other event partners for their support in staging our 2024 Formal. Special mentions must go to Mrs. Marianne Cox, Mrs. Jess Gudzenovs, Ms. Michaela Webb and Miss Bambi Britten for their outstanding efforts in organising and delivering such a successful event.
We congratulate the “Class of 2024” on a fantastic Formal function.
