Introducing Our Newest “Enrolment”, Odin
We are thrilled to announce the “enrolment” of 2.5-year-old labrador Odin to our school for 2025. Following in the “paw prints” of our existing therapy dog Hope, Odin is set to make a positive impact on student mental health and learning dispositions.
Thanks to resourcing from the Rural Health Innovation Fund, Odin will be with us for half a day each week. Odin brings both energy and calmness, and we are confident that he, like Hope, will quickly become a favourite amongst our students and staff.
Odin’s first day at PLHS is tomorrow! His owner, Cate, will be introducing him around the school to help him get acquainted. We look forward to the joy and support that Odin will bring to our school.
If you have any questions or concerns, please share these with the school’s Wellbeing or Leadership teams.
~ Mrs. Cayley Bennett (PLHS Wellbeing Team)
