One Week to Go Until Open Night
Port Lincoln High School is proud to offer our first OPEN NIGHT for 2025. Next Wednesday evening (March 26th), our gates will be opened to parents, caregivers and members of the wider community, with staff and students on hand to showcase a variety of curriculum and special program areas.
Open Night will commence at 5pm sharp in the Amphitheatre (near the Front Office) with a unique “BAND & BARRA” opening event.
From around 5:30pm, visitors will be invited to undertake a GUIDED TOUR of our school campus led by PLHS students and staff. The tours will include visits to the following:
- Aboriginal Education programs
- Aquaculture (smoked barramundi sales)
- Art/Design/Photography exhibition
- Clontarf Academy
- BRIDGE
- Dance
- Daymap Helpdesk / Study
- English / HASS / Writer’s Week presentation
- Food & Hospitality (sample platters)
- HPE / Outdoor Ed / Fitness Testing
- Inclusive Education / Literacy Intervention
- Languages (Indonesian & Japanese)
- Music performances
- Red Cross Coffee Van
- Science & Maths / Virtual Reality
- Senior School / Student Pathways
- Technology
- Wellbeing / Tailored Learning
- Year 7 Dharna Crews
As you can see, there will be plenty to see, hear, consume and experience throughout the night – all welcome.
