Year 8’s Celebrate Cultural Diversity for Harmony Day
To show support for cultural diversity and an inclusive Australia, PLHS students and staff were encouraged to wear something orange to school today in recognition of national Harmony Day (Friday March 21st).
The Year 8 students in Mrs. Tanya Booker and Mr. Shaun Thomas’ Dharna Crews went one step further, printing and displaying flags that celebrated the cultural heritage and ancestry of their respective families – as you can see, they are a gloriously diverse and colourful bunch!
