9-a-side Football Success for PLHS Boys
On Tuesday June 17th, several teams represented PLHS at the annual 9-a-side football carnival, in competition with various schools from the Lower Eyre Peninsula at the Ravendale Sporting Complex.
All of our teams displayed great sportsmanship and skills on the field which lead to quickly bonding as a crew and earning wins along the way. A big shoutout to our Year 7 and Year 8 teams who ended up winning the carnival for their grade. A special mention goes to one of our Year 9 teams, which just missed out on percentage for the overall victory.
A big thank you to Mrs. Joh Walding, Quinn and the help of their team at TLC for running and managing the event. Also, thanks to Mr. Tristian Rowsell, Mr. CJ Dodd, Mr. Maxwell Parsons and Mr. Deacon Penn as the accompanying teachers who assisted with coaching, umpiring and more.
Well done to all involved!
~ Mr. Tyson Collins (Accompanying Teacher)
