PLHS Old Scholars’ Association (Announcement 2/3)

On the evening of Friday August 15th, Port Lincoln High School will proudly revive its Old Scholars’ Association with an official (re)launch event to be held at the Port Lincoln Hotel.
This latest iteration of our Old Scholars’ Association will fall under the auspices of the school’s Governing Council – we offer our sincere thanks to this dedicated group for their willingness to take on the extra responsibility.
The Governing Council has ratified an introductory one-time Life Membership payment of $50 for any ex-students (or staff) who wish to join the Association in 2025.
Old Scholars will then receive the following membership benefits:
• a PLHSOSA badge
• email copies of monthly PLHS newsletters
• invitations to social functions & major school events
• networking/mentoring opportunities
• assistance with reunions
• opportunities to contribute to tertiary education scholarships for current students via the Country Education Foundation of Port Lincoln (https://portlincoln.cef.org.au/)
To apply and pay for membership, potential Old Scholars’ will soon be able to access a dedicated Old Scholars’ Association page on our school website – we have engaged WOOF Media to upgrade our site to include an online membership form and electronic payment portal.
Stand by for further announcements about the launch of our new website in the coming weeks.
