Calling All Old Scholars – Association Ready to Launch!

We are delighted to advise the PLHS school community that the latest iteration of our Old Scholars’ Association is now accepting members – we are also offering tickets to our launch event in the Port Lincoln Hotel on the evening of Friday August 15th.
Any old scholars still living in the Port Lincoln area are encouraged to visit the school to lodge a membership form and collect a (free) ticket or two to the launch. Please come and see Sharon (pictured) in our Front Office for assistance with this process.
A reminder that our school’s Governing Council has ratified an introductory one-time Life Membership payment of $50 for any ex-students (or staff) who wish to join the Association in 2025. Old Scholars will then receive the following membership benefits:
• a PLHSOSA badge
• email copies of monthly PLHS newsletters
• invitations to social functions & major school events
• networking/mentoring opportunities
• assistance with reunions
• opportunities to contribute to tertiary education scholarships for current students via the Country Education Foundation of Port Lincoln (https://portlincoln.cef.org.au/)
For those old scholars who live further afield, please be patient with us – you will soon be able to lodge and pay for membership electronically via a dedicated page on our updated website. Please stand by for further announcements in the coming weeks.
Non Nobis Solum.
