LEP Gain Valuable Experience at State Volleyball
A combined team from Port Lincoln High School, Navigator College and St. Joseph’s School competed as ‘Lower Eyre Peninsula’ in the State Volleyball Schools Cup in Adelaide from August 14~17.
Throughout the tournament, our team gained valuable experience playing against experienced outfits from Adelaide Botanic High School, Thomas More College, St. Peter’s College, Murray Bridge and Prince Alfred College.
The absolute highlight for our determined squad was an epic three-set victory over Prince Alfred College in our final match, where the team showed incredible determination and teamwork to finish the tournament on a high.
Our participating students displayed tremendous resilience, sportsmanship and pride in representing the Eyre Peninsula on the state stage. I wish to sincerely thank the families, caregivers and coaches for their support in making this opportunity possible.
Team members:
- Port Lincoln High School: Sky Keane, Rhy Kayser, Harry Halls, Xanela Cubacub, Rebecca Madden
- Navigator College: Harrison Page, Hector Tu
- St. Joseph’s School: Eli Keane
