Introducing Our Fourteen New Teachers for 2022

PLHS is delighted to introduce fourteen new teachers to our school for 2022 – this large number is largely due to the addition of Year 7’s to our student population. They have each kindly answered the brief profile questions below to introduce themselves to the community.
My name is… Miss Stephanie Sinclair
- My role at PLHS in 2022 is… to teach Maths and Science to both Year 8 and 9.
- Last year, I was… studying a Bachelor of Biomedical Science and working in an escape room (… and an office… and writing articles for my university).
- When I’m not at school, I like to… go for short walks (I’m like an elderly dog and can only go so far), sew, crochet, and read as many books as I have time for.

- My role at PLHS in 2022 is… Middle School Special Options Teacher
- Last year, I was… a Year 7 teacher at Port Lincoln Primary School
- When I’m not at school, I like to… read, sleep, cook and spend time with my family
My name is… Ms Simone Habner
- My role at PLHS in 2022 is… Year 7 to 9 Maths and Science.
- Last year, I was… in Whyalla at Nicolson Avenue Primary School teaching Year 6 and 7’s.
- When I’m not at school, I like to… sleep; most of my time is spent driving my children around to different sports.

- Last year, I was… finishing my Masters of Teaching with UniSA.
- When I’m not at school, I like to… relax by the water, play sport and catch up with friends.

- When I’m not at school, I like to… watch rugby league and spend time with family.
My name is… Mrs Stacey Hartwich
- My role at PLHS in 2022 is… middle school Science and Maths teacher.
- Last year, I was… completing my Masters of Teaching degree and then teaching at St Joseph’s School in Port Lincoln.
- When I’m not at school, I like to… go camping with my family, watch my children play sport, and if time permits, I do enjoy some quiet time with a good book.

- My role at PLHS in 2022 is… teaching PE and Outdoor Education.
- Last year, I was… working as a Local Relief Teacher in Port Lincoln and surrounding districts.
- When I’m not at school, I like to… surf, camp, watch and play sport.

- My role at PLHS in 2022 is… to teach Mathematics and Science.
- Last year, I was… finishing my Physics degree at university while I worked as a private tutor for both primary and secondary school students.
- When I’m not at school, I like to… read, play tennis, go to the gym, and binge-watch TV shows on Netflix.

- Last year I was… working as an engineer at the local water authority in Horsham, Victoria.
- When I’m not at school, I like to… bushwalk, bake, listen to music and connect with friends and family.

- My role at PLHS in 2022 is… teaching Year 7, 10 and 11 Maths.
- Last year, I was… working at Navigator College as a Maths teacher.
- When I’m not at school, I like to… cook and spend time with my kids.

- My role at PLHS in 2022 is… Teacher Librarian and teacher of Business Innovation.
- Last year, I was… a Teacher Librarian and teacher of General Business and Geography at Queensland’s Gin Gin State High School.
- When I’m not at school, I like to… go fishing and camping, reading, and watching movies and sport.
My name is… Mrs Annie Hage
- My role at PLHS in 2022 is… teaching English, History, Design, and Personal Learning Plan.
- Last year, I was… relief teaching between Reynella East College and Calverley Lutheran School in Adelaide, as I was temporarily living in Hallett Cove; when I returned to Port Lincoln, I spent time teaching at Navigator College and PLHS; oh, and I got married!
- When I’m not at school, I like to… catch up with friends and family, F45, fishing/squidding, makeup artistry, and watching aviation docos and all kinds of movies.
My name is… Mrs Nicole Cunningham
- My role at PLHS in 2022 is… Aboriginal Education Teacher.
- Last year, I was… a Year 7 teacher at Port Lincoln Primary School.
- When I’m not at school, I like to… spend time at the beach and go camping with my family.
