Teach For Australia Pilot Program at PLHS

This year, our school will be participating in a pilot program called Teach For Australia which will help us broaden specialist curriculum and industry experience opportunities for our students.
The employment-based pilot program allows professionals with subject specialist skills to teach while completing their Masters teaching qualification. As part of this pilot, we’re excited to welcome (pictured L-R) Miss Stephanie Sinclair, Mr. Benjamin Henrichs and Mr. Daniel Fischer to our teaching team!
- Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Science (Biomedical Science) majoring in Microbiology and Biochemistry; she will be teaching STEM (Maths) at PLHS in 2022
- Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Science (Physics) with a minor in Mathematics and Astrophysics; he will be teaching STEM (Maths and Physics) this year
- Daniel holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil and Infrastructure) and a Graduate Diploma in Integrated Water Management; he has been working as an engineer since 2008 and will be teaching Physics at our school
We’re sure our students will enjoy learning from their experiences in the industry. Please join us in welcoming Stephanie, Benjamin and Daniel to the community!
