Gold Medal for Max at Tcharkulda Cross Country
Last week, PLHS Year 9 student Max Rodda competed at the Tcharkulda Rock Cross Country Running event, hosted by Karcultaby Area School at Minnipa.
Max was one of 36 runners from all over the Eyre Peninsula in the Boys Years 7-9 category. We are thrilled to report that he was first across the finish line in an outstanding time of 19 minutes and 32 seconds.
PLHS would normally send a full team of runners to this excellent annual event – unfortunately, our team was withdrawn this year due to staff availability. Max, who is an enthusiastic, talented and humble athlete, chose to attend as an individual with the support of his mother, Meagan.
We congratulate Max and Meagan on this awesome achievement.
