Fourth Place for Mim at State Cross Country Running
Year 12 PLHS student Amelia “Mim” Stevens competed in the 2023 Cross Country State Championships held at the Oakbank Racecourse on Thursday, June 8th.
Mim came an incredible fourth place… she was running in third position until the last 200 metres, when she ran out of legs. The 75 kilometres she ran in the Simpson Desert Ultra Marathon five days prior may have had something to do with it!
