A Message from the Principal (re: Thursday)
Dear Families,
I am writing to inform you that Port Lincoln High School will be open but providing a modified education program on Thursday 9 November 2023 due to a vote for industrial action by members of the Australian Education Union at this site.
The Education Director has approved the provision of a modified program on the grounds that there will be sufficient staff on duty to enable me as Principal to ensure that adequate standards of student safety and welfare can be provided.
Families can send their children to the mainstream site from 8:40am until 3:10pm. The TLC site will be closed. Modified education programs will be provided to students until the end of the normal school day. This means that groups of students will be supervised but regular classes will not take place.
Regular classes will commence at the site from Friday 10 November 2023.
Please contact the school if you have any questions regarding this information.
Yours Sincerely,
Todd George (PLHS Principal)
