Year 6 into Year 7 Transition Info for Families
Current Year 6 students and families are advised of the following information relating to our Year 6 into Year 7 Transition Program (Thursday November 30th & Friday December 1st):
- the PLHS school day commences at 8:40am – prior to this time, please gather on the Ruskin Road side of the school (i.e. near the Front Office, the Gym, the Specialist Building or the top car park)
- PLHS staff will be on hand to guide Year 6 students to the Gym for their ten-minute Dharna Group (home class) session before Lesson 1 commences at 8:50am
- the Year 6 students will be split into six groups (7A-7F) for their Transitions lessons (timetable below); the students will find out which group they are in during Thursday morning Dharna Group
- the PLHS school day concludes at 3:10pm on both days
- we will provide a sausage sizzle lunch for all Year 6 students on Friday (no charge)
- Year 6 students will meet their 2024 Dharna Group teacher in Lesson 5 on Friday, before enjoying some fun outdoor physical activities in Lesson 6 to conclude their Transition program
