Talent, Teamwork & Crew on Show at Netball Carnival
On Wednesday May 20th, Port Lincoln High School proudly fielded a strong contingent of approximately 80 students from Years 7–12 at the annual School Sport Netball Carnival held at the Ravendale Sporting Complex. Our students competed across the 7/8, 9/10 and Open Girls Divisions, showcasing their talent, teamwork and a strong sense of PLHS Crew.
Throughout each competition, students demonstrated excellent sportsmanship both on and off the court, playing with determination and encouraging each other in every match. The energy and positivity among all teams contributed greatly to a fun and memorable day for all involved.
We extend our sincere thanks to parent helpers Krystal Cronin, Chloe Manthorpe, Jess Collins and Trystale Dennis for their invaluable assistance with umpiring, scoring and timing on the day. Your support played a pivotal role in the smooth running of the carnival. We also thank the many other parents who attended to cheer on our teams and support both the school and their children. Additionally, we would like to acknowledge and thank student helpers Neve Thomas, Jorja Defelice, Rylee Chatfield and Stella Franklin who coached teams on the day.
A special thank you to Navigator College for hosting and providing a welcoming and well-organised event.
Congratulations to all students for their participation and representing PLHS with pride.
~ Mrs. Yasmin Sampson (Curriculum Leader: HPE, Food & Nutrition, Sport & Integrated Learning)
