11-12 Scoreline in Staff vs. Year 11 Student Netball
During PE Week, PLHS students and staff have had the opportunity to get active during lunchtimes, with a different sporting challenge on offer each day – basketball on Monday, staff versus student softball on Tuesday and a golf chipping challenge yesterday.
Earlier today, a squad of Year 11 PE students take on the staff in a hotly contested netball match in the Gym. As these images show, the frenetic match was played in great spirit. Both teams had to work hard to advance the ball up the court, with mid-court interceptions aplenty.
As usual, the shooters had to capitalise on any scoring opportunities. With ten seconds to go, the students had a slim chance to equalise the scoreboard. In what can only be described as the correct result, the Hail Mary shot flew over the ring, handing the staff a deserved victory – next year, kids.
Looking forward to tomorrow’s Colour Run.
BEST PLAYERS: The Staff
