An Invitation to PLHS Parents (re: Governing Council)

Dear Parents and Community Friends of Port Lincoln High School,
The schools’ Governing Council warmly invites you to our first meeting to welcome and hear from our newly appointed Principal, Mr. Craig Akehurst.
Craig has a wealth of teaching and leadership experience spanning both the secondary and primary schooling sectors; he is keen to build upon the school’s many successes and future opportunities.
Craig will introduce our Governing Council meeting with a discussion about the strengthening of the school’s teaching and learning pathways for student success and excellence. The school enjoys an admirable reputation for its inclusive and diverse curriculum providing a springboard for further development.
This is great opportunity to learn about your child’s high school – especially for new and current families – and to consider the many opportunities and aspirations that await; come along.
Please connect this invitation with your family and friends and any who may consider Port Lincoln High School as their school of choice in the future.
Kind regards,
Brian Gabb (Chairperson) & the PLHS Governing Council
