Bell Shakespeare Trio Deliver Lively Performances

Earlier today, Laurence, Chrissy and Ruby from Sydney’s Bell Shakespeare company visited Port Lincoln High School as part of their regional tour. The accomplished and energetic trio delivered two engaging performances to our appreciative students during the day.
The first show was presented to our Year 11 and 12 English and Drama students and featured some more sophisticated themes, while the second was targeted at our Year 10 English and Year 9 Pantomime students as an introduction to his work. The performances were not presented as whole plays-in-full, but a compilation of famous scenes and key moments from Shakespeare’s plays and the world he lived in.
Bell Shakespeare’s visit was well timed to support our students in their studies of Shakespeare this semester; all in attendance should be commended on their excellent audience skills.
We thank Laurence, Chrissy and Ruby for their talented and lively productions today – they certainly assisted our students to understand that ‘all the world’s a stage’.
