Caitlin Nominated for Business Excellence Award

We are delighted to report that Year 8 PLHS student Caitlin Cole has been nominated for the 2021 Young Business Person Award by the Port Lincoln Chamber of Commerce.
In 2016, a then eight-year-old Caitlin founded her own business called “Cactus + Clover” in a small bedroom. Five years later, she now manages her own home-based studio and an e-commerce store selling handmade products all over Australia and the world.
Caitlin makes and sells scrunchies, key rings, lanyards, hair claws, face masks and tech accessories. These are also wholesaled to local EP businesses, with EP Surf (owned by PLHS graduate Jemma Stott) her greatest supporters.
Two PLHS staff members have been integral to Caitlin’s success – her business mentor, Mr Michael Paech (Sandune Surf), and her very proud mother, Miss Rebecca Paterson.
We congratulate Caitlin (plus Paechy and Beck) on this wonderful recognition and wish her all the best for the awards.
To vote for Caitlin in the 2021 Business Excellence Awards, please go to the following page before midnight on Monday October 4th: https://portlincolnchamber.com.au/awards/business-awards-2021-vote/
