Happy International Dance Day! (Tues April 29)
As we celebrate International Dance Day (Tuesday April 29th), the PLHS Dance crew have been working hard throughout Term 1 in preparation for our major production later this term.
Year 12 student Huey Hood has been working with the Year 10 Dance class, while past students Nellie Jones and Tilda Jenkins both returned during Term 1 to choreograph unique dances and work with our current senior Dance crew, sharing their experience, passion, and creativity.
This collaboration is not only a celebration of our school’s vibrant Dance program, but also a powerful reminder of the lasting connections that can be formed through The Arts. From choreography to inspiring the next generation, the energy in the studio has been electric across the 9-12 year levels.
Please save the date for our upcoming Dance production “Alter Oscillate” – 7pm on Friday June 27th at the Nautilus Arts Centre (tickets on sale soon).
~ Ms. Hanna Minchin (Dance Teacher)
