Mim Runs Onto State Cross Country Podium
The School Sport SA Cross Country State Championships were staged yesterday at the Oakbank Racecourse in the Adelaide Hills. PLHS Year 11 student Amelia “Mim” Stevens travelled across to compete as one of thirty runners in the challenging Open Girls division.
We are delighted to report that Mim completed the 4,000m course in an incredible time of 17 minutes and 29 seconds – this earned her third place in the division.
Congratulations to Mim and her family on this remarkable achievement – we now await confirmation of Mim’s selection in SA’s state team, which will compete on the national stage later this year.
