PLHS Girls Kick Goals at Footy Carnival
On Wednesday June 18th, two teams of talented PLHS girls represented us at the Year 7/8 and Senior Football Carnival at the Ravendale Sporting Complex. Despite the chilly weather, we were grateful it stayed dry!
Our students showcased exceptional sportsmanship, embodying our school values of Respect, Responsibility and Inclusivity throughout the day. The Year 7/8 team played five mini-games, winning four and securing an impressive second place overall! Exceptional teamwork secured all players at least two goals each for the day. The Senior team displayed remarkable resilience and sportsmanship in their two full games against extremely strong opposition.
Thank you to Mrs. Joh Walding for her excellent organisation, and to Quinn and his team for managing the event smoothly. Special thanks to Ms. Habner’s dad, Glen, for umpiring all the junior games, and to Nicki Brown for assisting with goal umpiring.
Well done to all involved!

* While we apologise for the lack of action shots – due to a sheer lack of sports photography talent – we did capture these team photos before the games began...
