Purchase a PLHS Centenary Paver – First Order Closing Soon
In 2023, Port Lincoln High School is celebrating 100 years of continuous educational service to the youth and community of Port Lincoln. As part of the school’s centenary celebrations, we invite you to purchase an engraved paver (or pavers) to acknowledge your contribution and connection with PLHS.
The signature pavers will be laid in our newly established Centenary Garden (near the Front Office/School Lane/Main Oval – images below) and will become a permanent record of your relationship with our school either as an individual, a family, an employee or a partner organisation.
KEY DETAILS:
- PRICE: $50 per paver
- PAVER SIZE: 230 x 115 x 50mm (standard single name paver)
- COLOUR: “Rojo” (red – terracotta)
- ENGRAVING: 48 characters maximum (up to 16 characters per line over a maximum of 3 lines)
- ORDERING: Download the Qkr! app then search for Port Lincoln High School – “Centenary Pavers” is listed under “SCHOOL EVENTS”; please clearly indicate your preferred lines of text (up to 3)
*Please phone the school’s front office (8683-6000) with any concerns or queries – ask for Creena or Cathy
The look and style of the pavers will be very similar to those at the entrance to the Port Lincoln Leisure Centre (as depicted in photo below).
We intend to place our first order of engraved pavers in the coming weeks – these will be installed into the Centenary Garden in readiness for our Centenary Celebration Weekend at the end of September, with the remainder to be sold/ordered across that weekend.
With limited space available, we encourage you to act swiftly to secure your personalised memento to the evolving history of this dynamic school. Please share this information with all who would appreciate this opportunity.
