Reconciliation Week Lunchtime Fun in the Gym
Earlier today, the first of three National Reconciliation Week lunchtime activities was staged inside the Gym, with Clontarf Academy staff Mr. Derick Wanganeen and Mr. Matthew Stokes running a basketball shooting competition.
There was some high-quality shooting on display – plenty of three-pointers were drained from all around the arc, with Diesel Makuch even nailing a half-court bomb. The overall winners were Terry Peel (boys), Aiza Blayney and Davanae Clements (girls) and Diesel Makuch (longest shot) – these four students are reminded to head to Clontarf tomorrow to collect their prizes.
Most importantly, lots of good-spirited Reconciliation Week fun was had by students and staff alike – looking forward to tomorrow lunchtime’s art/craft activity on the Eyre Floor.
