REMINDER: Staggered Start to 2024 PLHS School Year
Dear PLHS Parents and Caregivers,
We would like to welcome your family to the 2024 school year.
The Department for Education has again allowed secondary schools to have a staggered start to the school year, with approval from our Education Director. Both parties have approved the following to start the 2024 school year at Port Lincoln High School.
MONDAY JANUARY 29th– we welcome back our Year 7 and Year 12 students; this includes Special Options students in both year levels. Students will be within an extended Dharna Group until Recess, with normal timetabled lessons occurring after this break.
TUESDAY JANUARY 30th – we welcome back our Year 8, 9, 10 and 11 students. All students will be within an extended Dharna Group until the end of Lesson 1, with normal timetabled lessons resuming after this period.
WEDNESDAY JANUARY 31st – we welcome back our Year 10 Flexible Learning Options (FLO) students to their classroom located on the Eyre Floor; start time will be 9am.

TLC STUDENTS:
TUESDAY JANUARY 30th – we welcome our Year 12 students to the TLC for an Orientation Day.
WEDNESDAY JANUARY 31st – we welcome our Year 11 students to the TLC for an Orientation Day.
Both days will commence at 9.30am; it is important that all students attend these sessions. If you require transport or have any questions, please contact the TLC on 8682-1409.
