Year 7 Successes Recognised at Year Level Meeting
On the back of yesterday’s whole school Academic Awards Assembly, a year level meeting was called this morning for our Year 7 cohort. The gathering served as an opportunity to recognise a range of recent Year 7 successes, including the large number of students who received academic award certificates yesterday.
Year 7 Sub-school Support Leader Mr. Tyson Collins then announced the names of eleven students who won School Values Awards – these students had previously been nominated by their Year 7 Dharna Group teachers and based on the school value of RESPONSIBLE.

Art teacher Ms. Wanda Jarvis then acknowledged several Year 7 students who had their artwork selected for our SALA exhibition “Juvenescence”, currently on display at Jump Ship Brewing as part of the 2024 South Australian Living Artists Festival. A special mention was given to Marni Tiller (pictured), whose “Pretty in Pink” artwork features on the event poster and invitations. Participating students, their family and friends are invited to attend this evening’s opening event at Jump Ship (4:15–5pm).
Well done to our Year 7 cohort – keep up the great work.
